Snappy snap snap...

I've always wanted to have a DSLR as one of my gadget collection, but there were some reasons to why I never bought one.

....I cannot carry the weight (*damsel in distress mode*)
....I can only take photos using the auto setting and malas will need to put effort to learn more technics if I wanted to fully utilize it.
....I don't want to spend my money on something that I do not use anymore
....I don't like taking pictures as much as being in one :p

But still...deep down, having such a camera would be convenient especially when you want to record moments that your normal digital camera could not capture.

So I bought one for Mr. T as a wedding gift. The Olympus Pen 3PL.

It's not really a DSLR per se but it has the features of it with a more amateur friendly approach, yet at the same time it also stores the same function as a DSLR.

Mr. T and I (mostly Mr. T) made some research on which camera he finds best suit our need and can be handle well, so after a few hundreds times of shop browsing, we finally settled for this one.

Why did I bought it for Mr. T and not ask Mr. T bought it for me?

....because he is a strong man and he can carry the weight of the camera. *bodek*
....he likes learning new stuff and I know that he can digest all the techy knowledge way better than me.
....finally, I have the reason to purchase it :)
....now I got someone to capture my pictures with it ;)

I know the DSLR will be in good hands :)

Some aunties questioned my decision to spend a lot on the wedding gift as they know that we are in the midst of moving into a new house. That too will cost a lot!

But wedding is a one in a lifetime event (for most of us and hopefully for me too), therefore I would not want to give up such a special gift for the event to make way for our home project.

Mr. T and I have agreed that we will take the home project slow and steady - savour the moment~

Now I'm focussing on spending my budget on the house. Need to finalize many things to buy...owh there goes my $_$
